LifePoint Bangkok


Join a LifePoint Church Planting Team that will embark on a mission to spark a movement that will multiply new disciples, leaders, and churches in Bangkok, Thailand.

Bangkok, a booming mega city of over 15 million people, is the center for commerce and education for all of Southeast Asia. Hundreds of thousands of students from all over Asia come to study in Bangkok and return to influence people in their home countries as leaders and entrepreneurs. Less than one percent of more than 65 million people in Thailand know Jesus Christ as their Savior.

This vocational missionary initiative requires a three-year commitment for couples and two years for singles, with new team members rotating on the team in the future. The initial team will go through the following process:

  • On-Line Application with partners at Global Frontier Missions: (GFM will forward applications to LifePoint)
  • Interviews with LifePoint Staff and Leaders
  • Background Check
  • Strengths Finder Test
  • Personality Test
  • Counseling Interviews
  • Financial Screening
  • Medical Screening

Selection and Preparation

June – December 2009
  • Team Selection by LifePoint Staff and Leaders
  • Training for Fund-Raising
  • Weekly Meetings as Small Group Community
  • Service Project as Small Group
  • Monthly Meetings with Staff
  • Training in Spiritual Disciplines Scouting Trip to Bangkok
