LifePoint Global Strategy
LifePoint Global is about pointing
people to a Christ-centered life through Worship · Biblical Community ·
Service · Influence · Generosity. As we model a Christ-centered life
through missional communities, we desire to multiply disciples,
leaders, and churches among the nations for God’s glory.
A
missional community is a group
of Christ-followers passionate for God and His mission among a
neglected people or place that is not being effectively engaged with
the gospel. This community of believers will be advocates,
participants, and mobilizers on a mission to serve people, build
relationships, model what it looks like to follow Jesus, and multiply
disciples. They will promote prayer and resources for their focus
people. Some will go on short-term trips and motivate others to get
involved at whatever level possible. Any Christ-follower can be part of
a community on God’s mission! To be part of a missional community, one
must volunteer to go on a trip and/or help here at home with the cause.
As LifePoint missional communities form
around the cause for a particular
people or place, there will be
many different levels of involvement.
You can be on a variety of teams that pray, advocate, give logistical
support, sponsor, go on trips, provide leadership, serve local
communities, use business skills, study abroad, teach English, intern,
or serve as part of a church planting team. LifePoint Global leaders
will help you discover your role as part of a team on God’s mission
among a neglected people or place.
As missional communities from LifePoint focus on a people group or place in need of Christ, they will become the
catalysts for a transformation movement.
The goal is to discover local indigenous people who will follow Christ,
disciple them to reach their own people with the gospel, plant
churches, and develop leaders. The key is life-change, as
Christ-followers model what it looks like to follow Jesus in a loving
community through worship, biblical community, service, influence and
generosity, transformation will happen among new disciples, leaders,
and churches. The church will multiply and expand God’s kingdom for His
glory.
